Great news for Londoners, small grants are now available for community food growing projects, thanks to a new funding round launched by Capital Growth.
Apply NOW for London-wide grants of £200-£1,500 to help with capital costs.

There are currently 8 National Trust locations that are offering space to grow.
Lytes Cary and Woolacombe are amongst those who have upcoming events planned, so if you're local and keen to grow, get involved!

A piece of land in Alvaston that was once used as a community allotment but since grassed over looks set to be brought back into productive growing use.
Originally considered for housing, the land is now being considered by the council to be used by its local residents to grow fruit and veg.

On “River Cottage Winter’s On the Way”, Hugh met Marko Bojcun, a man who stopped dreaming of having a vineyard and set to planting his own vines in his back garden in central London and on a nearby allotment.

Hugh has been having a problem in his veg garden recently with rabbits! So he enlisted the help of some local hunters to put this pest on to the plate. And with the assistance of the local Women’s Institute, that’s not the only place where rabbit ended up…
