"After joining Land Share, I was contacted by Sylvia whose mother had a very large plot. It was overgrown with brambles when I first saw it but I decided to give it a go. I then got an email from Sylvia that she had gone ahead and cleared a large area and we both got started.
Due to the size of the plot I asked Sylvia if it was ok for me to look for some other growers to get involved through Landshare and as a result, John contacted me. John has put in a number of raised beds and also helped Sylvia to put her raised beds in. We now have yet another grower who has joined us, Nigel, who is clearing further brambles to create even more room.
John has got various veg in, Sylvia has broad beans, peas, potatoes, and I have runner beans, dwarf beans, broad beans, lettuce, and cabbage. We are all very much enjoying the experience!"
