Case studies coming soon

Posted in Case studies by the mole | 14 October 09

There are a huge variety of ways that you can landshare - from sharing back gardens, to company staff plots, to council growing schemes, to community supported agriculture and many more.

If you're interested to know how other people have started these kinds of landshares - how they got their council or company on board, or how they legally set up a CSA - then information will be posted here soon.

If you would like to be considered for a case study, send an email to landshare@channel4.com

  1. To me landshare is absolutely bionic/magical.I happened across the web site almost by accident researching the possibility of finding some land to use locally for a somewhat ambitious project, posted a listing asking for help, expecting to hear nothing. It was days not even a week,I opened my e-mails and I had recieved an offer that is possibley going to be the answer to my prayers( non-religious person speaking here),and hopefully change many lives.
I just could not believe the speed of response, the generousilty, and on making telephone contact the genuine nature of these people.
I am working exstreemly hard to get a new project off the ground which will impact on the lives of young people with already messed up backgrounds and offer an alternative to the formal classroom learning and a direction a way forward to their futures.
I am trying very hard not to sound all high brow, maybe it's all pie in the sky but someone has to reach for the stars.
