Before and After
Well, this last week was make or break. The plants were either going to die off as the golf course turned into the Sahara Desert or I was going to break my back portering water back and forth from the flat. As it happened, I was on holiday and the duty fell to a friend who had kindly volunteered to flat sit. As you can see from the before and after picture, it is amazing the impact 8 days of heatwave can have, when given sufficient water.

Hi Chris
Great success and still hidden. If you are able to get a wheelbarrow from your water supply to the plot, there is something called an 'H2Go Water Bag Container' which sits in your wheelbarrow, you fill it up with water [about 80 ltrs] and there is a wheelbarrow-friendly 'spout' to pour the water out of. Set up an old water butt on your plot and fill it with water before you go away and your flat-sitter will have a much easier job while you are sunning yourself. Seen on line for about £10. Other water bags available, I am sure!!
