Landshare will be there!

Thanks to everyone who attended our first Landshare event in Bath. We had people from the local council, the Soil Association, local growing groups, interested soon-to-be-landsharers and River Cottage head gardner, Mark Diacono there.
And thanks to the Turner family who drove several hours in order to share their landshare experience - the picture above is of their site. They are growing in New Forest and there is still more space for other landsharer growers to join them. You can find the relevant landowner listing here:

The Big Lunch is inviting you and all 61 million people across the UK to sit down to eat lunch with your neighbours, in the middle of your street on Sunday 19th July as a simple act of community.
A new initiative run by the Eden Project, The Big Lunch encourages communities to come together through growing food and flowers; creating street music, art and theatre; dressing the street and, of course, cooking and eating together.
Landshare is supporting The Big Lunch as a perfect way for growers, helpers and landowners to meet face to face in their neighbourhood, and share knowledge, land, time and of course lovely fresh vegetables, for a Big Lunch.
