Garden offered in Manchester - Sports City - M11 - 10 min walk from town centre

    Posted by carlsy77 on 21 November 09

    HI,

I have a decent sized garden which I am happy to offer to the budding gardener/vegetable grower. It needs a little tidying up initially but once this has been done - the potential is endless.

I dont have time to maintain the garden - so the land is yours to do what you wish.

    Plot with greenhouse

Posted by adelemarsden on 20 November 09

I have a large garden with a good section of land that can be set asside and used as an allotment. I also have a greenhouse in good condition, which is free to use. I have not been able to grow vegetables in the last few years due to work commitments and would love someone to take this over in return for a few of the veggies. I also have water and storage facilities if they are needed.

    Land available for tree planting...

Posted by bamboofarm on 20 November 09

I have 1/2 acre of agricultural land in Braybrooke near Desborough (north Northamptonshire). I have plenty of space for tree planting and would love more trees but dont have the time to do it. I am happy for trees to be planted here and I promise to only prune for the tree's own health for those looking to offset carbon output. My own favourites are bamboo, willow and fruit trees but am willing to have any tree planted.

NR14 Area - small plot offered

    Posted by Denice66 on 20 November 09

I've recently moved to a house with quite a lot of garden. One area in particular would be perfect for veg growing - I think it used to be the kitchen garden. Not overgrown but hasn't been worked for years. Just weeds now! Soil is very light and sandy. It's completly walled in so I have the kid's trampoline and swings in there but east enough to work round. If a family was interested, they'd be very welcome to use the play equipment if little one's get bored of digging!
Easy access to water and sheds/storage. Be nice to have the odd veggie in return!

We have a large walled garden, once very productive as part of a large estate. I have dedicated part of it to restoring a mixed fruit orchard and the rest is now abandoned to chickens, geese and (unwelcome) rabbits and visiting pheasants, etc.
I would really love to restore it to cultivation but do not have enough time. Anyone interested?
