hi i planted a few cucumbers out the other day and some thing has eaten all the leaves..any ideas ? thanks

  • If there are silvery trails on the leaves then it is a sure fire case of our slippery little friends the slugs!! Go out at night when they are out for their evening meal with a torch and you will be able to pick them off if it is them. You can buy a product called SLUG STOPPA which is an organic granular product which you can place around your cucumbers and they can't crawl over it, other things you can use are a circle of coffee grounds or egg shells crunched up.
    There are many other pests it could be, have you tried googling cucumber pests and see what pics come up?

  • could be slugs , or catterpillers look for signs of snail trails check underside of leaves thats where catterpillars like to live
