We have a small snail problem. I have made beer traps but i want to ask what is the best beer to use. I currently use tesco value larger, but do they like anything else better?

  • boil up 2 heads of garlic, do this about 3 times to get your moneys worth, use the juice diluted with a large water can filled with water, douse the leaves of your loved plants ant the slugs with emigrate, i have saved so far with this method, 6 sunflowers, an hosta which they love.......... and my tomato plants which are also a favourite of theirs.

  • if you go to a place like netto or somthing you can pick up some strong ale u want to use like black sheep ale but a cheaper varity. i

  • They prefer strong beer or real ale to lager. Not sure they deserve it though!!
