I agree with you in principle and think the adverts should be fixed picture types.
I hate the expanding type roll over ones and even the moving animated ones.
Of course adverts are probably a necessary eveil to sponsor a free page and web facilities - unless you want to pay for a site yourself.
If you do want to - I have a great project in mind ;-)

I joined Landshare last year to offer part of my land for allotments, the result is that now I have 10 plots and a group of new friends, the downside is I have been reported to the local council for not applying for planning permission, any advice ??

They already have an allotment.
I felt Landshare was to give those who didn't have a way of growing Veg an opportunity to grow.

The company I work for has a lot of land that I would like to propose to the manaegment that it be used as allotments for people who work here. It is a manufacturing site.
