River Cottage was born out of the 1998 television series following Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall as he moved to Dorset to start growing and rearing his own food. It has grown and developed into a team of people, led by Hugh, who are all committed to the principles of increasing self sufficiency, food integrity, and the consumption of local, seasonal produce.
Landshare is a new venture in partnership with River Cottage that aims to make the "River Cottage lifestyle" more accessible to us all.
