I live in an apartment in Beckenham BR3 and have no garden. Have been trying to get an allotement for some time with no joy. I am a novice however would like to start growing my own and looking to see if anyone has spare lad for a share of any produce that arrives.

Hello We are looking for a crop that coud be sown now. I wondered if there were any suggestions. Thinking of Swiss Chard, Spinach, Turnips however wondered if cabbages and carrots were still possible. Thanks

In the raised bed we are growing we have tomamto plants thatappear to be producing tomatoes. However the plants have spread somewhat and I am not sure if I shoud be pruning & I wondered if anyone could advise.

Hello, many thanks for your response much appreciated. I am afraid I do not know the variety as they were a present to the lady who owns the land and planted by her, although I can try and find out although i doubt she was advised at the time.

I have supported the plants with canes as you suggested and i will look to see if I can can cut the foliage a little.
