Hi,
I've been bitten by the grow your own bug, started off this year with a starter kit for lettuce, tomatoes and cucumbers. Growing them indoors and the wife is wanting her space back :) Looking for a share in some land where can plant out various crops, far from an expert on it but this years crops seem to be doing well so far. Would be quite willing to share the work also as my work often means late nights however dont take that to mean i'll disappear i still tend to my plants everyday whatever the time. Looking to get something arranged and maybe (excuse the pun) get the groundwork done for next year. Hoping to grow a good variation tatties, toms, possibly cucumbers, some herbs and maybe some more tricky crops as a trial.
I'm thinking of two suggestions, one being a plastic owl or similar which can be used as a detterent just needs to be moved about a bit, search in google for them available for around £20. Or stake up some fishing line or similar and criss-cross it and then tie on white streamers which should put them off
