My partner, little girl and myself are looking for a space to grow some veggies for the table in the Warwick, Leamington Spa areas.
We've been on the allotment waiting list for ages and keep seeing the seasons roll by as we struggle to even nearly meet our aspirations though a few (but very enjoyable) pots in our yard.
We don't mind hard work and would consider any site however overgrown or untended, to begin on; any size too, and we'd also be happy to share a plot with groups or individual growers.
We'd also be happy to share any costs and of course the all important bounty through the year.
Please get in touch if you have any info or suggestions, or even a bit of land in mind!

How big is the problem? Sara-venn is spot on with the ladybird/wasp angle that has to be first port of call. I only have a smallish space at present and so rub them off with fingers every couple of days. It also helps search for various vegie-larvae too!
I always drink the beer before it makes it to the trap. It's hopeless.

Unless it's a complete infestation (on your food plants) I really wouldn't worry about them. They're not doing any harm on the wall. My daughter loves watching them speed around in a miniture frenzy, go and get a magnifying glass...you know you want to :-)
